Frank stood silently,  taking a moment to register what Gerard had said.  He just agreed...He just agreed!  Frank suddenly jumped forward, throwing his arms carelessly around the taller boy.  Gerard stayed still, feeling uncomfortable in Frank's grasp, taking relief as the shorter quickly pulled away, muttering an apology, but looked up, beaming, "So, you'll do it?"
Gerard nodded once again.  Frank took hold of his arm, clinging to it happily, burying his head into the crook of the other boy's neck, "Thank you!"
Frank's father cut in with a heavy sigh, "Fine! You're willing to go through with such a travesty then so be it!  But I'll have you know, you have agreed to marriage, so therefore, you are burdened with this decision and are not entitled to change your mind."
Frank hugged Gerard's torso, repeating 'thank you's into his chest, before pulling away, looking up, "I truly cannot express what this means to me, Gerard."  He turned suddenly, giving Mikey a quick hug, "And you shall be my new brother-in-law, yes?  I promise you that you may stay here at the palace, this is your new home!"
The king made sort of a growling noise, calling for the guards to escort Mikey to his room.  They motioned for the nervous teen to follow them.
"And Frank, you may lead Gerard to your room."  Frank beamed once again, taking Gerard's hand in his own, pulling him behind him down a hallway.  The entire way they walked Frank was chattering away about seemingly random topics, constantly hugging Gerard's arm or jumping up and pecking him on the cheek for what seemed like no reason at all.
They stopped in front of an impressively designed door, engraved with countless winding patterns.  Frank kissed Gerard's cheek one more time, "Okay Honey, this is our room."  Gerard tried not to twitch at being called "Honey" by a boy he'd just met that day, then again, he had just gotten engaged to the kid.  Gerard silently nodded, following the indented patterns etched on the door with his eyes.  Frank turned the knob so that the room was revealed.  Gerard gasped, running inside and spinning around, trying to take in the entire sight at once, he looked at Frank with wide eyes, mouth opened slightly, "T-This is your room?!"
Frank chuckled, closing the door behind him as he walked inside, "No, this is our room."
Gerard couldn't help but keep smiling a little, the room was such a dramatic change from the ground of the village where he usually slept with his little brother, "Wow...it's gorgeous."  Gerard stood awkwardly in the center of the bedroom, feeling very out of place in his dirty clothes.
Frank motioned to the king sized bed, "Feel free to sit down, you should feel absolutely comfortable in your new home."
"B-but, I don't want to ruin your bed, I'm afraid my clothes are rather unclean."
"Oh, yes, of course.  Um...I hope you won't mind, but you'll have to borrow some of my clothes until we can get your measurements for a tailor."
Gerard shook his head, "I don't mind at all."
Frank hugged him again, but pulled away quickly, "I apologize if I seem clingy," he stepped back, nervously twiddling his fingers, "I-I'm just so happy.  I understand that you may resent me for putting you under such pressure so suddenly today, but it was the only way I could have a chance to spend my life with somebody I wanted, not who my father wanted for me.  I wasn't lying when I said I'd rather have you than any woman."
Gerard felt sympathy wash over him like a giant wave in the ocean, he slowly and timidly placed an arm around Frank's shoulders, just as nervously pulling the small teen to his chest, "It's okay Frank, I should be thanking you for allowing me and Mikey to stay in your lovely home."
Frank wasted no time throwing his arms around the taller boy, smiling into his shirt.  Gerard let go, and Frank sat on the bed, "Well, I'm not expecting you to treat this as a romantic sort of relationship, but I would very much like to be friends, yes?" Frank reached out his hand.  Gerard shook it formally.
  "That sounds great."
There was a silence, broken by the sound of someone knocking on the door.  Frank called out, allowing them to open the door.  A woman entered, with clothing bundled up in her arms. Standing with a polite smile, Frank nodded his head, speaking to the woman in a foreign language that Gerard didn't understand, taking the clothes and dismissing her.
Frank handed Gerard some of the clothes, "Here, you can wear these for tonight."
He took them thankfully, but nearly dropped them as Frank began stripping away layers of clothing, soon revealing his bare chest, and beginning to pull off his pants, stopping when he noticed the embarrassed look on Gerard's face.
Frank chuckled, "You look like one of Mother's porcelain figures when your cheeks turn that color."
Gerard looked away, trying to keep his eyes from darting back to the boy's exposed skin, "Um, I-I, I'm sorry."
"Why should you apologize?  I think it is the most adorable thing I've ever laid my eyes on.  Although if just seeing my upper half exposed makes you blush like that then I suggest you look away before I continue."
"Oh, y-yes..." Gerard turned away nervously, as Frank finished changing.
"Okay, I am decent now."  Gerard spun around on his heels to see Frank smiling a little, his head tilted, now clothed in silk pajamas, "You may change as well."
Gerard nodded, unfolding the equally fine clothes in his arms and preparing to strip.  He stopped in place when he noticed Frank's eyes locked on him, Gerard looked at the short boy, blinking a few times.
Frank straightened, "Oh, I apologize, do you wish for me to turn away as well?"
  "I would not mind."
"I don't quite see why, it is not as though I've never seen a penis before."
Gerard took on the look of a doll once again, fiddling with the clothing in his hands, "Um, well, you have not seen mine and I'd very much like for it to remain that way."
Frank shrugged, turning away, muttering a Very well then.
"...All right, I am finished."  Frank turned around, a smile creeping across his face.
He walked over to Gerard, running his fingers over the layer of silk that covered his chest, "You look very handsome."
"As do you, although I suppose that is what one would expect of a prince."
Frank looked down, "I suppose so.  Although, I'm not exactly what most people expect a prince to be."
"Well, I think you do for a very fine prince."
"Thank you, it's nice to hear that for once."  Frank's eyes panned up, looking out the large window to see the darkness that had engulfed the sky, "It is growing late, would you like to sleep?"
Gerard shrugged, also looking at the dark sky, "I suppose...but, um, where shall I be sleeping?"
Motioning to the large bed Frank laughed, "Here of course."
  "What about you?"
"The bed is certainly large enough for two people, don't you agree?" Frank smirked, jumping into bed, patting the area beside him.
"O-oh...I see, um, I suppose that would be okay..."  Slowly crawling under the blankets, Gerard layed stiffly, not daring to make eye contact with the boy next to him.
Frank was laying on his side, staring through half lidded eyes at Gerard, a smirk showing playfully on his lips, "You don't need to be so nervous, I'm not going to do anything inappropriate, we've only just met.  I want you to feel comfortable, not only living here, but with me."  Slowly Gerard relaxed, turning on his side to face Frank who greeted him with a smile, "Hello."
Gerard chuckled lightly, repeating what Frank had said, "Hello."
The prince pushed a few strands of dark hair out of his fiancee's face, "I wish you a good night, and pleasant dreams during your sleep."
Gerard grinned, "And the same to you."
It didn't take long for Gerard to fall asleep on the soft bedding.  Frank watched with interest as his breath evened out, his mouth twitching every once in a while during his sleep.
Although he was well aware that this most likely wouldn't be a traditional marriage in which romantic affections would be the constant thing that they usually were, more like a friendship in which two people were given the title of a married couple and shared many things.  Frank understood that it was a partnership of sorts, like a business agreement, stiff and formal, and that was all. Frank wouldn't admit it in the open air, but in all reality he was a hopeless romantic.  He very much would have liked for a romantic relationship with this man, but that wasn't an option.  Despite this blatant and nagging fact, Frank made a decision at that point.  He planned on wooing Gerard, whether the other realized he was being wooed or not.  Frank fell asleep with a smile on his face at that thought.
And here's part two (Haha, I bet you guys were hoping for some sexytime...or at least some kissing, huh?) Oh Frank, you are so a hopeless romantic.

I don't own these people
